Adult Cycle Confidence Sessions

Our FREE adult cycle confidence sessions were featured on BBC South News at the beginning of March 2022, if you missed it – check out the video here which we have saved. It includes an amazing story of one of our clients who is an Assylum Seeker from Afganistan who has found freedom in riding a bike here in Southamptpon – with a little help from our team! Get in touch to book your adult cycle confidence session if you live or work in Southampton city area.

Our FREE adult cycle confidence sessions are fubded by My Journey Southampton team in Southampton City Council. Get in touch to book your free session today. Check out https://myjourneysouthampton.com/cycle/get-cycling/cycle-confidence/ for more info as well.

We can teach people to ride from scratch or just take your for a ride and give you a bit of confidence. In the past we have done sessions with all sorts of people as you can see from the pictures and videos above.

We have helped people plan and try their commutes and showed people routes they can ride safely with their families. The sessions are bespoke to you so do get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Ditch the Stabiliers

We are also experts at teaching kids to ride without stabilisers and often run sessions from our base at Monty’s. We are currently running a toddler bike club for preschool children on Monday morning at 10-11am whilst our stay and play group is on.

We sometimes get funding for these sessions for older children, such as through HAF Southampton or My Journey Southampton. is so there will be Eventbrite cards below to click on, however if none available you can contact us to arrange a private lesson for £30 per hour.

Youth Cycle Skills Training

We are experienced cycle instructors and specialise in working with young people fro more deprived areas. We have been commissioned by Southampton City Council and been given grant funding from the Bikeability Trust to deliver ‘cycle skills’ sessions for children in school time and in council funded holiday clubs. These informal sessions help young people gain vital cycle skills so they can use their bike safely and take part in Bikeability courses more fully in the future.
