This section is still under construction… but here are the basics:
Monty’s Bike Hub is part of community development charity Monty’s Community Hub. A bunch of local volunteers started fixing bikes in our youth group 5 or so years ago! We realised there was a real interest in bikes and bike maintenance in the area, as well as it being a great opportunity to mentor and engage with young people on our estate, many of whome have various challenges etc. We got some funding to by some tools, built a makeshift workshop in the garage of Monty’s Communiy Hub and the rest is history!
We are planning on sharing our history in more detail in the next few months so watch this space for the full story!
