We accept donated bikes, recycle them and sell at affordable prices to local people.
All our bikes that are done and available you can see via our Facebook shop profile and contact us via this link if you can. Or if there is nothing suitable please just come in on a Wednesday evening from 4-8pm or Thursday 2-5pm, no appointment necessary. You can then have a look at our donated stock and reserve something for us to refurbish for you over a couple weeks. We can’t always deal with specific requests about specific bikes via email, the website or our facebook page, we really do prefer people to come in and have a look.
Adult bikes start from £100 and kids bikes from £20, we also sell new accessories and equipment such as lights and locks. All income goes back to the charity. Below our a few pictures of the sort of bikes we get in, these will have sold by now but gives you an idea or type and price. We aren’t always able to send specific messages about bikes as our stock changes over so quickly. We used to be open on Tuesday but now are not open to the public this day.
We have a number of projects to make bikes available for people on low incomes or vulnerable groups. These include our Job Seeker project where you can get a voucher from your Job Coach – please ask them about this as they have to give you the voucher. We also have a Refugee bike project so can offer bikes to Refugees which is funded by Southampton City Council. If you are a profesional or working for a charity with vulnerable groups do get in touch to see if we can help make bikes accessible and affordable to those you are working with. We often can’t give bikes away for free but if you have some funding we can certainly try and help as best we can with your funding available eg basic bike for £100, plus accessory bundle of helmet, lock and lights for £40.
